The Gbomai Bestman Foundation is a non-profit organization that dedicates their time to promote and better the health and well being of mothers and children in West Africa, Liberia. Their ultimate goal is to reduce the rate of maternal and child mortality through procedures like pre and post natal care, nutrition, and family healthcare and planning.
Actions currently taking place to improve the well being of mothers and children in West African rural areas are; assisting expecting mothers and young children. This allows the mothers to undergo a safe and successful pregnancy, and the children to see a day past the age o
f 5 years.Style Elite and Mike and Michelle Booking Agency have taken the time to assist the Gbomai Bestman Foundation in raising money and awareness through Fashion! Mike and Michelle Booking were able to provide a celebrity appearance by Lola Monroe, while Style Elite Modeling and Talent Agency put on a runway show with the help of their model veteran, Desire Venn, which took place at the Rockville Manor in Montgomery Maryland on August 21st 2010. At the show Style Elite's very own model and TV personality, Comfort, interviewed the foundation, models, Style Elite, and other charities while others graced the runway. The models rocking the runway included Marvina, Kamilah, Nina, Shanasia, Lynn Ma, Nikki, Abigail, Jamairais, and Janice.
